Our Services

A.R.C’s services are aligned with the Pennsylvania Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy (JJSES). Students take part in a variety of group therapies including, but not limited to Balance and Restorative Justice(BARJ), Aggression Replacement Training (A.R.T.) as well as Cognitive-behavioral Treatment Curriculums such as Drug and Alcohol Education, Relapse Prevention and Criminal and Addictive Thinking. Each group is held once a week and facilitated by full-time staff that is trained to facilitate the group. Each student receives a minimum of one weekly individual counseling session lasting a minimum of one hour conducted by his or her primary counselor.

General Education

A.R.C education is provided on-site at each residential facility. These services are funded through ACT 30, under our designation as a Private Residential Rehabilitation Institution (PRRI). A.R.C.’s education schedule provides 6.33 hours of academic studies per day. The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires 5.5 hours of instruction.
